- Attention Students with Library Books STILL checked out: Your library books or lost book fees are due IMMEDIATELY.  Seniors, you will not receive your graduation tickets or diploma until books are returned or fees are paid. Students you should pay book fees to Mrs. Jessup, the bookkeeper. Return your library books to the library or the drop box located on the bench outside the library. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Horne in the library or send her a chat. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

- Students that had art at the Reynolds Homestead Art Show may come by the art room to pick up your art. If you would like to enter this art into next years Agricultural Fair, Mrs. Helms will help you fill out the paperwork for a chance to win prize money.

-  There are STILL personal care kits for students available in guidance These kits are very nice and contain full size brand name shampoo, deodorant, body wash, toothpaste, and more. There are 50 boy kits and 50 girl kits available. These will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Come to Guidance and get a personal care bag.

- We will be collecting chromebooks from Juniors on Monday, May 18. Sophomores and Freshmen collection will be on Tuesday, May 17, and 8th graders will be collected on Wednesday, May 20. All chromebooks, chargers, and hotspots must be turned in. Anything not turned in will need to be paid for including lost chargers. The cost for a charger is $28.00. Any damages not covered by insurance will also need to be paid for.

Anything not turned in will need to be paid for including lost chargers. The cost for a charger is $28.00. Any damages not covered by insurance will also need to be paid for. All stickers and decals MUST be removed before turning your chromebook in. If you need to keep your chromebook for a final exam, please message Mrs. Rakes or stop by her room, 122, to tell her. You may turn everything in after you exam. Senior chromebook collection will take place in room 122, near the library, and NOT in the library, due to continued SOL testing.

There is a book drop box located on the bench outside the library for your convenience if the library is closed due to testing. Lost book fees should be paid to Mrs. Jessup, the bookkeeper. * Attention 12th grade SR. Betas: Applications for the National Beta Scholarships are due this Thursday, January 15th.
* The library is closed for lunch all of this week due to English Classes doing research in the library during 3rd block.
* 10th grade field trip forms to P&HCC can still be picked up outside Mrs. Keith's office. They are due this Friday, January 16. 
* Attention JR BETA Convention Attendees: The rescheduled date for the Convention Safety and Rules meeting is next Tuesday, January 20 during Cougar Pride in the library. This is a required meeting so make sure you are there.

* Congratulations to the Girls Wrestling Team for doing an outstanding job this past Saturday of representing Patrick County in their first ever all girls individual wrestling tournament. Jazmyne Reynolds, Leia Cobbler, and Alexa Rivero competed at the Ed Creswell Tournament in Bristol, Virginia with Leia Cobbler finishing 2nd in here weight class. Leia is the first medalist for our girls wrestling team. Awesome job Lady Cougars! Keep up the hard work!
* The Boys Wrestling team competed in the Ed Cressel Individual Wrestling Tournament this past Saturday in Bristol, Virginia. Wheeler Helms earned first place in the 190 pound weight class. Ben Knight, Logan Rakes, and Adin Geiger finished 3rd in their respective weight classes. Caleb Lancaster and Tyler Cobbler finished 4th in their weight classes. Wesley Catron, Austin Harrell, Landon Moles, Adrian Dehne, and Alex Hernandez all wrestled hard and contributed to the teams overall success on the day. Congratulations guys and keep up the hard work!
