- This week we are celebrating Virginia Kindness Week, a reminder that simple acts of kindness help make our school and community safer, healthier, and more inclusive.

Kindness doesn’t happen by accident—it happens by choice.

Today’s Kindness Challenges are:

Make a list of ten things you’re looking forward to.

Tell someone you admire them and explain why.

Thank someone in your community who makes a difference.

Challenge yourself to a “positive vibes only” day—complaint free.

Ask a family member or friend about their day and truly listen.

Choosing kindness changes both the giver and the receiver.

Kindness reduces stress, builds empathy, and strengthens our school culture.

Today’s Kindness Challenges are:
Make an uplifting playlist and share it with someone.
Take a smiling selfie and send it to someone who makes you happy.
Spend time outside today and enjoy nature.
Apologize to someone you’ve hurt—or forgive someone you’ve been holding onto anger toward.
Leave a thank-you note for someone who serves our community.

Kindness is how strong communities are built—one action at a time.
